GI Joe
After years of anticipation, Paramount Pictures finally brought G.I. Joe to the big screen and W/DG re-introduced this fondly remembered property to the web. Employing groundbreaking 3D model technology with next generation Flash software, W/DG created 360° environments that immersed visitors in the movie’s high-tech, high-octane world. These state-of-the-art military environments, created using Papervison3D, were full of interactive objects and “Easter eggs” that rewarded exploration and repeat visits.
W/DG also created elaborate character pages with extensive digital treatment of movie footage. These character pages allowed fans to delve deeper into their favorite Joe’s background and also experience embedded video content highlighting action-packed battle sequences. As with the 360° environments, the character pages were seamlessly integrated into the main site, providing elegant, streamlined site navigation.
